Welcome to SNMC's Online Extension to its Final Fundraising Dinner Event

The goal is to be debt free by end of 2015, insha'a Allah!

Alhamdulillah, last January, we had our grand opening of our new masjid and centre in Barrhaven, Ottawa, Ontario (check out the pics). After over 8 years of efforts and with more than $8 million raised, we made it!

But it wasn't a walk in the park, that's for sure!

Last year we took over $1 million in loans from other organizations and individuals. Alhamdulillah, all of these loans are interest-free loans. But it's about time that we pay them back. In fact, we have been steadily paying them back all through this year in small amounts.

This year's fundraising dinner event, taking place on the 24th of May, will be our final fundraising event!

We are looking to collect enough funds to repay most of the loans we took out, particularly the overdue parking lot bill.

Can you help us out?

In fact, did you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

'Whoever starts a good deed and is followed by others, will have his own reward and a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in any way."
