Tarbiyah Learning Academy

Tarbiyah Learning Academy is a not-for-profit, registered charity, full-time Islamic school with a philosophy that puts children first by providing them with a loving, engaging and inspiring environment.  We achieve this by having passionate teachers, keeping a low teacher to student ratio and unlike other ‘elite' private schools, keeping our tuition costs affordable for the average family.  Our mission is to have our young Muslims build a strong foundation in faith and Quran (reading, writing, reciting and understanding) while achieving academic excellence.

Plans for 2017/2018

We are excited to announce that Tarbiyah will be expanding into Jami Omar's brand new school facility, Alhamdulillah!

This Ramadan, we urgently appeal for your generosity to help our school transform into a shining example of what an Islamic school in the West can be, insha'Allah.

For the expansion to succeed, we need YOUR (i.e. community) support.  Funds raised will go towards adding school furniture and resources into the new classrooms.  New funds will also help us hire additional Ontario certified teachers to join our current team of amazing educators.  Help us build and grow the school for the benefit of the whole community.

Spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." (Quran 63:10)

وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَآ أَخَّرۡتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ۬ قَرِيبٍ۬ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ (١٠)

Why Does Tarbiyah Matter?

The vision of Tarbiyah Learning is to have young Muslims develop a strong foundation of knowledge in all subjects through the proper understanding of the Holy Quran. Our vision for the children extends beyond academic success in this life. We need to show them how to reach for the highest success of all; Jannatul Firdous. We recognize that academic success cannot be confined to just letter grades, but rather success comes out of honing the skill sets of young children and making them dedicated learners throughout their lives. The most precious gift one can give a child is not just materials and subjects, but instilling a love of, and interest in learning itself.
